1,000 innovative clean energy solutions and > 150 framework enablers with the potential to deliver more than twelve gigatonnes of avoided emissions by 2030.

These assessments are based on a basic avoided emission assessment. The overall concept of avoided emissions is that a solution (product or service) enables the same function to be performed with significantly less GHG emissions. The method of measuring avoided emissions, is to compare a baseline scenario without the enabling solution, with a scenario using the enabling solution; whereby the baseline represents the ‘business as usual’ (BAU) scenario.

These assessments are based on the framework document: The Avoided Emissions Framework (AEF) from September 2020.

Build aqua drones that maintain waterways

Kayal Technologies wrote: Urban waterways in developing countries tend to be heavily polluted and urban poor live close to that. Keeping urban waterways clean is essential for healthy cities and also preventing ocean plastic pollution. However, the current global methods for waterway maintenance are labour intensive, inefficient and don't scale. We’re automating waterway maintenance with ai and drone technology. We are building all-electric aquadrones that collect floating debris and remove weed using computer vision. Clean water solutions to all

GermSafe Technology wrote: In india and other developing countries, hand-pumps are the primary devices use to get the ground water available. Considering the lack of awareness, low income, and unavailability of continuous supply of electricity, people from rural areas can't afford water treatment facilities and hence prone to water borne diseases. So, this inspired us to create water disinfecting hand-pump in which a small modification in the existing set-up can serve as water treatment solution. We have successfully implemented at pilot scale followed by field trials at 15 villages in maharashtra. This modification in the pumping system resulted in ~95% water disinfection (~99. 87% for e.
