Massamba Thioye, UNFCCC, highlighted the need to explore ways to establish allocation when multiple stakeholders contribute to 1.5 °C compatible innovations and welcomed Mission Innovation’s Net-Zero Compatible Innovations Initiative as a leading initiative in this area. Thioye presented the idea to have an innovation space during COP26 where the concept of net-zero innovation could be highlighted.
