The Net-Zero Challenge: Fast-Forward to Decisive Climate Action

A solution and innovation perspective is beginning to be incorporated into the mainstream climate agenda. With this new report, The Net-Zero Challenge, the World Economic Forum (WEF) is moving ahead of many NGOs and initiatives that still only see companies as polluters and ignore their potential as solution providers. The Net-Zero Challenge report is a significant step in the right direction towards accelerating the innovative solution agenda. Mission Innovation’s Net-Zero Compatible Innovations Initiative (NCI) participated and contributed to the report in collaboration with Emily Farnworth, WEF, and Marco Duso, Boston Consulting Group and their respective teams. NCI looks forward to further collaboration towards a transformative solution agenda with a strong focus on 1.5 °C compatible innovation including business model innovation.
