Social Alpha launches ‘Techtonic – Innovations in Clean Energy’ at the SDG Global Festival of Action

During the launch of the third edition of Social Alpha’s energy challenge ‘Techtonic- Innovations in Clean Energy’, an initiative designed to scout for transformative solutions addressing challenges and gaps across all stages of the energy lifecycle and all use cases. Representing Net-Zero Compatible Innovation Initiative, Dennis Pamlin, Lead, opened the panel discussion titled “Scaling up clean tech innovation for accelerating climate action – Entrepreneur’s Perspective” where he discussed the innovation landscape in the energy sector and highlighted the importance of clean energy start-ups for a sustainable future. The event also saw representation from a range of organisations and companies: Dr Renu Swarup, Secretary, Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, Praveen Sinha, MD & CEO, Tata Power and Ganesh Srinivasan, Chief Executive Officer, Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited. The event also included a panel of innovators from the Techtonic initiative, where challenges faced by technology innovators were explored, which was discussed in relation to the need for an agile business model which connects to a multitude of stakeholders.
